Action in the district court for Lac qui Parle county for personal injuries and property damage arising out of a collision between plaintiffs automobile and one owned by defendant Peter Hammer, d.b.a. Hammer Motor Sales, and operated by defendant Chester Christenson, which collision allegedly resulted from the negligence of said defendants and that of defendants Irving and Clifford Strassburg. The case was tried before C. A. Rolloff, Judge, and a jury. The court directed a verdict for defendants Irving and Clifford Strassburg, and the jury returned a verdict of $43,000 against the other defendants who appealed from an order denying their motion for a new trial.
